Marine Crescent Flooding

THE PROJECT:

Some properties in Goring on Sea, West Sussex were regularly being flooded and something permanent had to be done to alleviate this major and reoccuring problem.

The property was experienced severe internal flooding through the french windows, garage and rear conservatory doors.

THE PLAYERS:

Durey Castings was approached by Southern Water to propose and implement a permanent solution and towards this end Dureys engaged Flood Ark as specialists in this field.

THE PRODUCTS:

Flood Ark have a huge range of measures and products for most eventualities. In this case their Flood Board Protection System was proposeed as the best solution to the problem. Installation was quick and efficient and carried out by professionals.

THE POSTSCRIPT:

The property is now protected from tidal and surface water run-off in adverse weather conditions. The light weight flood boards can be easily stored, and inserted by one person to give a protected barrier to ensure no water now enters the property. The propert owners and the main client were very pleased with the results.
