Overall, our latest trading year was very sucessful.

The Hailsham depot won new business from all quarters, including picking up work from BT contractors, the Highways Agency and Water companies. It has also become, in a very short time, the 'go to' place for flood mitigation equipment.

At Dartford our business with the merchant sector grew as these companies can pretty much rely on us to always have the stock available. We can usually be confident in our ability to also match their rapid delivery times. Same day, next day deliveries are not uncommon. Dartford has also picked up the new contracts from all the communications companies.

As a result the conpany's sales grew by over 17% this trading year with much of this new business being the 'top end' profitable kind. We continue to look for new oportunities and, even as we write, are looking at a very exciting area, involving alot of new technology products, which could revolutionise the way homes are built.

Growth this year has been recorded in all product areas. A fair portion of our new business has come from the North of England and Scotland.

We have set ourselves the target of growing still further next year and to help achieve this goal we have identified new products, new trading oportunities and new trading partners to work with. Our appetite will not wane; our staff will not relax.
