21 Years of Quality Service.

Durey Castings Limited has upgraded their audited Quality System to the latest 2008 version. We are now assured to BSEN ISO 9001:2008.

Twenty one years ago Durey Castings took the first steps towards a quality standard approval that permanently changed our company for the better.

The British Standard then was known as BS5750 and the country was just beginning to wake up to idea of working to a set of procedures designed to improve all aspects of its service towards its customers.

Back in 1988 Durey Castings were the FIRST in this industry to apply for, and be awarded approval to, this standard. We have been audited by the BSI several times a year ever since and can proudly boast a continuous third-party approval by the BSI for 21 years.

The name of the standard may have changed since the eighties but our commitment to Quality Service has not. Now called BS EN ISO 9001, approval to this standard is even more stringent and sought after than before.

Twenty one years of continuous approval by the British Standards Institute. Dureys: first to be approved, last to stop improving.

Durey Castings Limited are proud of their contribution to customer service within the manhole cover and grating industry. As a long serving established business we have managed to influence many areas of the industry and have seen a number of improvements in product, custmer service and aftersales care as a result.

Back in the mid nineteen eighties, for example, many steel products were still being coated by a 'zinc-spraying' method or 'electrozinc plating'. For many producers these methods were used as standard. After much pressure from Dureys, and others, full hot-dipped galvanising became the industry standard and is still the best method available today.

Many other improvements, especially in customer service, can be traced back to representations by Durey Castings Limited. Where we have initiated new, improved practices, many others have imitated. We still work tirelessly for improvements on your behalf.

We don't believe customers should be waiting long periods of time for 'standard', or even semi-special products. As far as posible we deliver on a day and at a time that suits you, the customer. We charge a fair price and deliver a top service. Proudly pushing forward the quality experience of customer service, Durey Castings still lead the way.
