FACTA, the Fabricated Access Covers Trade Association, works hard with the country's top manufacturers to provide a specification that allows users to specify their requirements for the performance of steel covers with confidence. We meet on a regular basis to ensure our aims and standards are current.
FACTA specification compliments and expands the BSEN 124 standard and allows control over the purchase and use of a wider range of manhole covers and gratings.
We are proud to become Associate Members of this highly respected organisation, and hope our input may eventually lead to even further improvements in design, lifespan and quality.
We also see our role as one of representing the end user at FACTA meetings. The industry as a whole has benefitted greatly since the formation of FACTA. We intend to respect what has already been established and help the organisation to promote, clarify and improve their specifications throughout the industry.
